Every Soul a Star is a 2008 novel for children and young adults by Wendy Mass.[1] Taking turns in first person from each of the main grapheme's' point of view, it follows the stories of Jack, a confidence-lacking 13-twelvemonth-one-time who is slightly overweight, Marry, an virtually-13-year-old homeschooled girl who wants to be an astronomer, and Bree, whose life goal is to exist on the cover of Seventeen before she is seventeen. Eventually, all 3 children meet each other at The Moon Shadow and form an unlikely friendship. Bree and Marry plot to convince their parents to change their minds about the move, but they fail in their endeavor. Jack is smitten with Marry, even though they may not see each other once more (although, there is a skillful adventure they will) and Bree is able to walk the labyrinth at the camp, which she has been avoiding since she arrived. The group witnesses the eclipse, which amazes all of them, and exit all of them to accept their separate fates. Bree's family invites Ally'due south family to visit for their almanac "Star Party" each summer, while Bree personally teaches Ally the "ways of the globe". At the stop, Marry notices Jack'southward stuffed bunny.
